Getting Away

Getting Away was Sarah’s first full length play. More complex than Getting Out, it features the highly physical character of the ‘artist’ who has been asked to create a graphic series for commuters. As he uses reconstituted superheroes from his previous novels, brand new characters and a character based on his real life crush, chaos ensues. He finally finishes the novel (or the superheroes finish it for him) and has the confidence to ask out the girl of his dreams.
