I don't direct for theatre very often, but when I do it is usually for Different Breed Theatre - a collective of like-minded actors who enjoy making non-pretentious 'event theatre'.
So far I've directed Anthony Nielson's The Night Before Christmas (twice) in a Bermondsey beer arch, and InTents (which I also wrote) at Grosvenor Square and Southwark Park.
“A talented cast of our four actors really delivered the goods. All of them were totally believable and they worked superbly together bringing their respective characters to life…a really great show that kept me entertained and, perversely, managed to re-kindle some of the old Christmas spirit in me once more, so I will raise a glass to that!” **** London Theatre 1
“I can promise you that you won't be disappointed in this hour long production by the Different Breed Theatre Company”
“It is a fast paced, brilliantly put together show full of slapstick, farce and jokes to make your hair curl and will make you laugh til you cry. And if you are after an antidote to traditional pantos, you won’t do better than spend an hour in Gary’s warehouse seeing this. A winner”
